What happens after you book?

  1. Pick a time that suits you. The call is free and takes 30 minutes, wherever you are in the Americas.
  2. Talk it through with Kyle. Your stage, your timeline, and how finance is handled today. You'll get an honest answer on whether a fractional CFO is the right fit.
  3. Get a plan if it's a fit. You'll get a proposal within 2 business days of the call. Most engagements start with a 3–4 week diagnostic of your finance function, then a three-month trial.

“I really appreciated working together on our first investor-ready financial model. Kyle brought strong structure and discipline to the model while keeping it practical and investor-focused. I especially valued how he pressure-tested the capital strategy and simplified complex areas without losing rigor, it materially strengthened the story for the raise.”

What should I have ready for the call?

  • Where your company is: raising soon, or growing on its own cash flow. Investors: what the fund needs, and which portfolio companies need help.
  • How finance is handled today: who does the books, and what tools you use.
  • Anything with a deadline: a board meeting, an investor update.

No preparation needed beyond that.

Is it the right fit?

Probably not if:

  • The company is very early and finance is still simple enough to run without a CFO.
  • You already need a full finance team rather than one senior person.
  • You're looking for a full-time, in-house CFO.

If we're not the right fit, we'll say so.
